Trust in God

Light, and all that is needed for health and well-being, to you and yours.
It’s a time, as always, to take whatever appears to be disturbing and troubling as an opportunity to come closer to the Lord God who is always with us to provide what is needed for our growth and learning as a soul.  A way that always works is to seek understanding through loving and complete trust in God.

Focus on Soul Awareness

John Morton at MSIA Founders Dinner in England

The focus of soul transcendence is the wholeness of our divine nature and conscious awareness of the soul.  This focus by necessity bypasses certain choices of a lower nature. Yet those same choices come freely often by fulfillment of the karma of what has been created through past actions and the law of reversibility.

Choose wisely least you create repetition of what you have already experienced and still need to learn by choosing correct action.  This is what has often been referred to as temptation.  Karma often takes us to the nature of our temptation that is presented as unnecessary action.  By focusing on your soul awareness, you can be conscious of what is not serving the highest good and choose the highest good of all concerned.

Blessing for Healing

Leigh Taylor-Young & John Morton

Here is a healing to behold.  Take some time, five minutes is plenty, to visualize the tissues, the cells, the nerves and nerve centers, all illumined and fully revealed to your sight within. Invoke the anointing and blessing of Christ Jesus, the infinite mercy, the infinite power to renew, to restore, to be born anew. Behold this as best you can.  There is no need to tarry when you place this squarely upon your faith in God. Know that it is His will being done to use you as a co-creator.  And in this moment of surrender with God, see yourself acting entirely according to God’s will, which is full of life, full of joy, full of peace and good tidings. Let your cup of blessings be full and running over and over to all without need of measure.

Trust in God/Confianza a Dios

Leigh Taylor-Young & John Morton traveling in England

When you give your trust to God, God extends greater trust to you.
It is an inheritance. What is coming to you is delivered because you have demonstrated you are ready.
“I am ready for greater trust now. I am bringing my trust to You.
I am delivering the trust You have given to me.”
Greater trust comes to you. You are entrusted with what God has for you.

A Prayer for Peace, Compassion and Harmony

John Morton first shared this prayer shortly after the events of September 11, 2001. He offers it now as well:

At a time like this amidst all the horror and crisis, there is a great need for the calm, clear, merciful presence that is the divine nature. For many, the impact is so extreme that they are compelled to deal with the outer calamity.  For those of us at some distance whereupon we are left to observe and grasp for understanding and how to respond, let us first pray, and direct our inner resources in the Spirit to comfort and assist all those in need.  Let us call upon what is needed in the hearts and minds of all so that love, caring, and mercy can reign.  Let us look upon one another with compassion and strength of God’s will for direction in the necessary response and balancing action that must occur.  Let us respond such that what becomes is a world at peace in mutual harmony.  Let us hold for a new life on earth such that our differences are respected and we do love one another.

“Peace. Be still. Know that I am the Lord.” [from Psalm 46:10]

God bless us all.

John Morton, Spiritual Director of MSIA with John-Roger, Founder of MSIA

Remember the inherent goodness in all things.
Forgive and love regardless of conditions.
Claim yourself in the order of God.
Recuerda el bien inherente en todas las cosas.
Perdona y ama a pesar de las condiciones.
Reclámate en el orden de Dios.

Making the World a Better Place than We Found It

John Morton in Tanzania

Below is a link to a very moving song “I Was Here” by Beyonce, performed recently in the United Nations General Assembly Hall on World Humanitarian Day. I am reminded how often I have heard John-Roger say that one of the signs we are living spiritually is that we leave a place better than we found it. It’s scriptural. AMEN. Let’s be about leaving this world better than we find it each and every day. Our life is a testimony, and through us divine loving is becoming more manifest. Greater good is calling upon us here in this world to be done this day. One of my rallying calls is, “Let’s go out and do some good!” This is who we are. This is what we are about.

Let me play DJ for a moment: This song is dedicated to John-Roger and Patti Rayner for all the good works you have been doing through the Heartfelt Foundation for decades. I am singing this with you.
